Barcelos - Ponte de Lima

The tenth stage in Porto and Northern Portugal. Starting in Barcelos and passing through Tamel, the Church of Senhora da Portela, Balugães, Vitorino dos Piães, Facha, and Correlhã until reaching Ponte de Lima. Upon arriving in the oldest town in Portugal, you'll encounter a vast cultural, architectural, intangible, and gastronomic heritage, with highlights including the famous Arroz de Sarrabulho (a traditional dish) and the Vinho Verde Loureiro (a type of green wine). Crossing the Roman/medieval bridge to the right bank of the Lima River, the pilgrim's hostel warmly awaits each traveler. This is the longest stage of the journey, covering 33,746 meters, with medium difficulty and an elevation gain of 185 meters.
