Turismo de Portugal, IP, fully respects the privacy rights of the portal’s users, which is why, as a matter of principle, it does not keep or use browsing information associated with the identification of its visitors, limiting the gathering of personal information to that which is voluntarily provided by visitors / users, and is used exclusively for the purposes for which it was intended.
In addition to the foregoing, it should be clarified that, in line with guidelines on 'cookies', the portal gathers and uses the following information:
- the country of origin of the user and the language of the user's browser, in order to improve the alignment between their objectives and interests and the information that is shown;
- that which is expressly authorised by the user, namely on their location, so the portal can provide a support service for the planning of a visit to Portugal.
