Lourosa - Pinheiro da Bemposta

From Lourosa to Pinheiro da Bemposta, the trail runs through some rural areas and some cities. During this journey the trail passes through the municipalities of Santa Maria da Feira, S. João da Madeira and Oliveira de Azeméis, a region that has for a long time served as a transition between the coast and the interior. The climate is mild and the natural scenery consists of low hills overlooking the valleys and fields irrigated by rivers and streams.

The cultural heritage is a preserve of past legacies, while still valuing contemporary creation. Tradition and innovation coexist and intertwine, showing us the culture of each of these places, with their monuments, museums, art centres, festivals, feasts and pilgrimages.
