The sixth stage in Porto and Northern Portugal. Starting from the Cross of the Lord of Padrão, where the bifurcation occurs that separates the Portuguese Coastal Way from the Central Portuguese Way to Santiago, this stage follows an interesting urban and cultural itinerary with a mandatory stop at the Monastery of Leça do Balio, historically closely linked to the pilgrimage to Santiago. Matosinhos also has the Jacobean legend of Cayo Carpo, who, riding his white horse, ventured into the sea in the direction of the boat coming from Joppa in Palestine, carrying the apostle's body, and arrived there covered in scallop shells. A route covering 8,703 meters, with low difficulty and an elevation gain of only 80 meters.
