Starting from the town of Rabaçal, near the Igreja Matriz main church, this stage passes through the municipalities of Penela and Ansião, along Vale do Rabaçal, passing through typical villages of the Serra de Sicó mountain, in the middle of a karst landscape. The landscape is marked by the immensity of the natural spaces, dotted by small villages with land reserved for dry farming and grazing with traditional flocks of sheep and goats.

The natural heritage is associated with the conditions and morphology of the landscape, with ancient vineyards and olive groves in the flat fields of the valleys and the typical rock formations of the mountain. There is significant cultural heritage here, due to the antiquity and value of the archaeological sites and historical centres, but also due to their ethnographic aspects. Also relevant is the intangible heritage, particularly wine, sweets and the famous Rabaçal cheese, which has kept its ancestral methods of production and traditional characteristics.

The stage ends in the town of Ansião, near the Parish Church.
