Mealhada - Coimbra

Beginning in Mealhada, the stage moves on to the city of Coimbra, gradually moving away from regions with climates that have a maritime influence and travelling inland.

It passes through the municipalities of Mealhada and Coimbra, where we find old towns and beautiful urban and natural landscapes. This is the land of the fertile plains of the Mondego, next to the large river and its tributaries, making up the main elements of the landscape.

The cultural heritage is valuable and attractive, known for the antiquity, authenticity, quantity and diversity of all of its elements. Along this journey you will see monasteries, churches and chapels, but also museums, gardens and parks.

Arriving in Coimbra, the stage ends near the Church of Santa Cruz.
