Beginning in Mealhada, the stage moves on to the city of Coimbra, gradually moving away from regions with climates that have a maritime influence and travelling inland.

It passes through the municipalities of Mealhada and Coimbra, where we find old towns and beautiful urban and natural landscapes. This is the land of the fertile plains of the Mondego, next to the large river and its tributaries, making up the main elements of the landscape.

Arriving in Coimbra, the stage ends near the Church of Santa Cruz.
